Vakeel Saab The film is still as relevant as it was four years ago, especially in the light of the still ongoing Nirbhaya case. The horrific gangrape incident that rocked the entire country seven years ago, stills has the convicted filing mercy petitions while some others debate the hanging. Vakeel Saab is the Telugu remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s Hindi flick, Pink. While the film is all about the three women who are fighting against patriarchy, they are nowhere to be seen in the first-look poster of Vakeel Saab.
Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback after 2 years and it’s great news for his fans. He picked a film like Pink as his comeback vehicle, which is commendable. But, what about the women the story is supposedly based on? A few days ago, the film’s title and the first-look poster were unveiled by the makers. Firstly, the makers conveniently picked Vakeel Saab Pawan Kalyan’s character in the film as the film’s title. Secondly, the poster has a picture of him relaxing and reading a book. There is literally no trace of the women on whom the film’s story is hinged on.
